I created this space as a place for me to share these loves and passions of mine; what makes my heart beat and colors my days alive. My hope is that this blog is filled with the realness, the rawness, the beautiful, the heart stirring, gut aching, shakey nervousness, slow and pensive, wild and thriving thoughts and moments of LIFE.

Diluting Your Essential Oils With Carrier Oils

what are carrier oils

You may have heard the term “carrier oil” used when talking about Essential Oils. Simply put, a carrier oil is a vegetable oil that you use for diluting your essential oils! There are a ton of different options for carrier oils to use such as (but not limited to) coconut oil, olive oil, or grapeseed oil, and Young Living’s V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex.

Dilution with a carrier oil does not dilute the effect of the essential oil. In fact, it prevents waste due to excessive application. Look for dilution ratios on Young Living essential oil bottles.

Below you’ll find one of my favorite infographics on what carrier oils are, and which ones to use!
