We are back!!! Many of you may have noticed my recent blogging hiatus. I decided to take a step back and reevaluate what I wanted this blog to look like. I didn’t want to blog just to blog, and I didn’t want blogging to seem like a chore. So, I decided to take a step back and breathe! I am coming back to the blog feeling inspired, refreshed, and incredibly excited to share so many pretty things with you all!
I want this blog to not only be a place to share recent work, but a place for brides and grooms to come to seek advice, inspiration, and to see their engagements and weddings featured.
I hope to start blogging more posts geared towards photographers and other creative business owners.
And I hope to share a few peaks into my life as little “behind the lens” glimpses.
So today I am back to share recent work and inspiration! A goal of mine for this year is to shoot for myself at least once a month. In January I decided to do a last-minute Valentine’s Day bridal inspiration shoot. This shoot was featured on Midwest Bride this past Saturday, and in case you missed it, I am sharing it all here today!! 🙂
Here’s what was said over on Midwest Bride!
“Happy Valentines Day! We thought it would be appropriate to share some romantic Valentines Day bridal inspiration.
More on bridal portraits from Alex of Everlasting Love Photography:
“Bridal shoots just don’t seem to be as popular in the Midwest as other areas of the country, but I wish that wasn’t the case. It’s a chance for the bride to have a trial run of her wedding day (without her groom) and get gorgeous images in return! For this shoot, we were inspired by soft, romantic pink hues. I shot a mixture of digital and film, focusing on the romantic, grainy black and white film stock.”
We adore the idea of bridal portraits. Enjoy these beautiful photos!”
