Today I want to chat about how you can use stock photos for your business and make them your own! Maybe you’ve been wanting to use stock photos for your business, but you just didn’t know where to begin. Or maybe you were a little overwhelmed by the idea, so you’ve been putting it off.

Listen up friends, using stock photos doesn’t have to be overwhelming and is really quite simple! Here are 6 quick ways that you can use stock photos and make them your own.

Use them in your Instagram/Facebook posts
Do you ever want to make a post on social media, but you don’t have a photo to use? This is where stock photos come in! Using a mix of your own photos and stock photos with the same preset applied will help you create a cohesive and beautiful Instagram feed.

Feel free to apply your own presets to keep images cohesive & you can also crop stock photos to make them your own! Crop it down to focus on a particular object in the photo, to stay true to a specific color scheme, or just to provide a certain perspective.

Create graphics for your feed
Placing graphics in your feed can be a great way to communicate information to your followers. However, sometimes graphics can look too busy and clog your feed. An easy solution for this is to create graphics with beautiful stock photo images. This will keep your feed looking clean and cohesive, but will still allow you to use a graphic when needed.

Create Instagram Stories
Instagram is constantly changing and adding features, which means that we need to adapt and make adjustments as needed. Statistics show that many people now view stories more than they view posts- so if we want to get a message out to our followers, we must utilize the stories feature. Creating your own instagram stories with stock photos not only makes the job easier, but it will allow you to create cohesive stories that are aesthetically pleasing and consistent with your branding! You can use an app like Unfold or Over, upload the stock photo you want to use and then add text to the image.

Create graphics for classes
Have you ever created a class, but you couldn’t seem to find the right photos to use? Ahem, another great way to use stock photos! Sure, you can take your own photos, but sometimes we don’t have time for that. How much easier would it be to have a whole folder of high-quality, beautiful images at your fingertips? Choose your photos add some text to it, and you’re good to go!

Create graphics for educating your team
Have you ever written a post for your team, but you didn’t have a photo to post with it? Stock photos are such a time saver! Just choose which image you want to use and add some text on top. Easy peasy!
