Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share another wedding with you all today! This wedding has been in the works for so long and I am so excited Francois and Katy had the most perfect day! These two contacted me at the beginning of 2013 for a wedding they were hoping to have in May of 2014. Francois is in the Air Force, which made planning their day a little difficult, but they finally got their chance to say I Do and it was so great. I am so thankful I had the honor of photographing this wedding.

This couple’s love for one another and their friends and family was an absolute dream to photograph. The day was a perfect October day. When couples pick October as their wedding month, a day like Fran and Katy’s is what they hope for. The high was 68 degrees, there were still beautiful orange and yellow leaves on the trees; perfection! Katy wore a classic ball gown, Francois in a simple black tux and their wedding party matched in classic black gowns and tuxes. They were married in their hometown of Le Mars Iowa in the beautiful St. James Catholic Church. I am such a sucker for all things timeless, and this was no exception! Fran & Katy- thank you so much for allowing Tyler and I to capture your day. We absolutely loved being a part of it and wish you nothing but the best for years to come!
