High school sweethearts have such a special place in my heart! Maybe I am a little biased because Tyler and I are high school sweethearts, but I just love hearing about those couples who started dating in high school and against all odds are still together today. There are so many difficult transitions a person goes through during that time of their life. Graduating, going to college (many times at a different school than your significant other) getting engaged, and then marriage. There’s so much growing up during that time, but I’m sure every high school sweetheart would agree, you wouldn’t want to experience all that with anyone else!

Bradley and Alex have been together for six and a half years, spending a little over one of those years as a married couple. They’ve experienced all of those changes I mentioned together. And they’re even more in love than they were in high school. Their love for one another was an absolute privilege to capture. In honor of just celebrating their first anniversary together, we decided to explore Ames, and give these two a chance to fall even more in love than they were at the start of their session. Time for just them right before the busyness of school starts again. Time to remember why they fell in love in the first place.
