Eek! I am super pumped to share about our trip out west with you all today! As you might know, we recently road-tripped to Washing to document a beautiful wedding! We left Ames around 4 the Friday before the wedding, stopped in North Dakota for the night, drove the whole day Saturday (well actually our friend Liz drove the whole day Saturday) and camped right outside of Glacier National Park. On Sunday, we woke up early and set out for our adventure at Glacier. Once we got to Glacier the whole trip was so much fun and SO beautiful! We camped on the other side of Glacier Sunday evening, and headed for Seattle, Washington on Monday. (by this point I think it’s safe to say we were all sick of being in the car)


On our way to Seattle, we made a pit stop to see Rattle Snake Ledge. The park closed at 9:30 and any vehicles in the parking lot would have been towed, so we had to book it for 2 miles up the fairly steep mountain to spend some time at the top, and turn around and book it back down. The views were SO worth it though! We headed for Seattle and spent the next couple days in the city before it was time to go to Spokane for wedding activities! We are SO thankful we got to experience this trip with Michael and Liz! (Even though it didn’t end the best way ๐Ÿ˜‰ We sadly hit a deer, and totaled our car. But in a FORTUNATE chain of events got home safely, without having to spend a TON of extra cash! ) Tyler and I have gotten to see so many beautiful creations this year and it’s so wonderful! Oh how I love traveling ๐Ÿ™‚
