I am SO excited to share this new, amazing tool with you all today. If you’re like me, and set a schedule for blogging (which trust me, it makes life easier) then you’re searching for the best way to keep it organized. I’ve tried several different ways to keep track of blogging. From using Word documents, hand writing posts on a calendar, iCal, Google calendar you name it. None of these left me feeling organized, and actually created more work for me. Then CoSchedule came along.

I saw a post pop up in my Facebook news-feed about this cool new plugin for WordPress that allows you to set up blog posts on a drag-and-drop calendar AND integrate social media while doing so! I knew I had to check it out, and immediate fell in love. I know it doesn’t seem like it would take much time, but sharing blog posts on social media is just one of those tasks that isn’t fun, even if it only takes a maximum of 10 minutes. This plugin has been a game changer for my blogging organization, so I wanted to share it with you all today.

CoSchedule is a plugin (basically an app) for your WordPress blog. I use FolioWebsites for my all-in-one website/blog, but many people use ProPhoto and other platforms. As long as it’s hosted by WordPress, this plugin will work for you! You can access your calendar directly from your WordPress dashboard, or you can access it directly through CoSchedule. I’ve chosen to use it through my dashboard, after all I need to be signed on to write the blog post anyway!

You can also view your calendar a month at a time. Once a post has gone live, it greys out on your end so you know it has been published.  CoSchedule’s lay out is super simple and user friendly. You just click the pencil icon on the day you would like to schedule a post, then either choose a new blog post or social message to schedule. You then can schedule multiple social media shares on your personal and/or business Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc. This is great for Facebook because it allows you to reach more people throughout the day with out having to remember to share your post at a certain time.

Bonus: You get to see your stats right on your calendar. SO COOL! 

So far this amazing little plugin has made my blogging so much easier. Especially when traveling! I just created the post and boom, it was done!
