It started while planning our own wedding. I purchased my first DSLR camera, and instead of shooting on Auto, I forced myself to learn how to use it manually. I wanted to perfect this new venture, so I set up photoshoots with everyone I knew, and I began reading blog after blog about starting your own business. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law told me that they were thinking about not having a wedding photographer, so I jumped at the opportunity. Soaking up as much info, and getting as much practice time in as I possibly could. I was officially a wedding photographer.

And that’s how it started. A fun little hobby/project that turned into a passion. A brightly burning, soul-filling, I-kind-of-want-to-cry-just-thinking-about-it passion. A passion to document stories. Stories to pass down to someone’s children and their children. To document the in between moments of life; not only the very first day of a couple’s married life, but the marriage that comes after, and the joys of becoming parents.

Then in the midst of doing just that, I stumbled upon these things called Essential Oils. And I made a business out of that too.

You see, that very first passion in this story, it has lead to other passions. Passions like being futuristic. Dreaming big. Being innovative. Passions like teaching and leading others to do the same. This It’s a blessing this passion of mine. One that is called being an entrepreneur. And I am so excited to share it with you.
