I’m taking some time to reflect on the past two years of this oily journey of mine. Yep. TWO WHOLE YEARS. And I wanted to share what I would tell myself, if I had the chance to talk to 2-years-ago-Alex.
1. Just buy the kit. You have the money, it’s really NOT that scary. I promise.
2. You’ve seen Madison post about her income. Yes it’s real. Yes you should listen to that little voice in your head telling you that you should do this as a business.
3. While you’re at it, you need to actually be all in. Quit giving into fear, and using those “kindas” and “just dipping my toes”. Do this. Be all in. It will be worth it. So worth it that you’re able to restructure your photography business to fit the life you want to live.
4. Get Tyler to be all in right away. He’s never once going to question what you’re doing, but get him to be your partner in the biz thing as soon as you get your kit. He has a different perspective, and it’s going to make your business thrive.
5. You’re a part of an INCREDIBLE team of women. You’re about to make some life long friends. Don’t be afraid to be active in the groups you’re a part of. That is how those relationships will form.
6. You can use your photography talents for this business, and it’s going to help propel you forward. Get to it.
7. I know I’ve talked a lot about the biz so far, so let’s talk about those oils. Your head will need some help feelin’ good when your kit arrives.

8. Get a reference guide right now. And start making your list of what oils you need to stock up on. And get on ER right now. Otherwise you’re throwing free money away.
9. Your friends want to know about this new journey. Don’t be afraid to tell them about it.
10. Gods going to bless you through this journey. Big time. This is from Him. Don’t ever doubt that.
11. Seriously though, your life is about to be changed. Your health is going to be a billion times better. You’re about to be blessed with a business that’s like nothing you’ve EVER been a part of. You’re about to travel the country because of this. You’re going to be poured into by some incredible women. Seriously, you’re about to form some of the greatest friendships of your life. You will soon have a team of over 700 incredible men and women. And it’s not going to stop there. You’re going to see that tribe set big big goals and crush them. You will see them achieve their dreams and it’s going to make your heart so full that you might just cry. A lot. Soak it all in, and enjoy.
