One of my main reasons that I started my journey with essential oils was because I was on the hunt for incredibly glowy skin. I was using scary, scary things to get my skin to be clear. I didn’t care about the side effects, I just wanted pretty skin. (Anyone else!?) It left my face in a constant state of being RAW. We’re talking burning, stinging, redness… ouch! So when I heard that people were using oils for clear & glowy skin, I HAD to try it. (And I know I know… it seems counterintuitive to use oils to clear up acne, right!? Essential Oils themselves won’t clog your pores believe it or not! The only thing you need to watch out for is the carrier oil you use with them! My skin LOVES Jojoba oil!!!)
Here’s the skin care routine I finally settled on!
I use Lemon-Sandalwood Bar Soap twice a day, A drop of Tea Tree (neat–no carrier oil) in the morning for spot treatments.
And then at night I use my glowy skin mix of :
Jojoba oil in a glass dropper bottle with 10-15 drops of Purification, Tea Tree, Lemon, and Frankincense.
You can also use Lavender to treat redness. I canโt stress enough how much Tea Tree + Lemon-Sandalwood bar soap have done for my face, but the rest of it keeps my skin glowing AND clear. Thank you, oils!!
